The removal of permanent and or molar tooth is a surgical procedure. In order to decrease pain, it’s critically important to maintain dental hygiene regularly. After the extraction of the tooth it’s recommended to use disinfectant spray or mouthwash at least for a week, but it must be made using an extreme care, so the blood clot don’t go away (it relieves and shortens recovering period).
In order to prevent swollen gum, ice compress could be used. If the wound has been sutured, after the tooth had been extracted, the suture are usually removed within a period of one week.
